Muszyna is not only about sanatoriums and healthy mineral water. Check out what our Concierge, Ania, recommends to see in Muszyna.

About 12 km from Hotel Belmonte and 8 km from Krynica, you will find Muszyna – a picturesque and charming town located on the bend of the Poprad river. It is a great destination for an afternoon walk or a day of outdoor recreation.

The best time to visit Muszyna is from May to October, when nature guarantees the most interesting experiences. During the summer season, there is also access to an outdoor pool complex, a skate park, and tennis courts.

The most interesting attraction is the Sensory Gardens located on the slopes of Sucha Góra. A walk to the top of the hill guarantees both beautiful views and an enrichment of knowledge about the history and legends of Muszyna.

At the foot of Sucha Góra are the Magical Gardens – an ideal place for a peaceful stroll surrounded by green mountain slopes and among various plants. In the Magic Garden, there are also aviaries with different species of birds – from Asian ducks, through cranes, to royal peacocks. In the summer, you can also encounter alpacas.

A place of exceptional world significance is the Lipowy Obrożyska Reserve located in Muszyna. It is a picturesque path along the slopes of Mikowa Góra with a length of about 4 km. This is the only strict reserve of lime forest in the Carpathians, and movement is permitted only in designated areas.

While in Muszyna, it is definitely worth visiting the Castle Hill along with the ruins of Muszynski Castle, the regional museum "Państwa Muszyńskiego" with the nearby Manor of the Starostas, as well as the Muszyna Town Hall with its cellars.
